Papermint

Terms of Use

Updated 26 October 2026

Papermint is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains how it applies to Papermint and adds a few terms of our own.

Your documents

Your documents remain yours. Papermint works on them on your device and never uploads them to us. Keep your own backups, and only edit, sign, redact or share documents you have the right to.

Redaction, passwords and signatures

Redaction removes the selected content from the saved file, and password protection uses standard PDF encryption. Check the finished document before you share it. A signature added in Papermint is a picture of your signature, not a certified digital signature; whoever receives the document decides whether to accept it.

Summaries and translations

These are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important against the original document.

No warranty

Papermint is provided as is, as set out in Apple's agreement. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or for damages from using the app. Nothing here limits the rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
